  • The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, led by Betta Edu, is currently revamping the program.
  • NASIMS says this temporary hold is to address issues directly affecting beneficiaries.
  • Stipend payments will begin after the restructuring and forensic audit are completed.
  • Funds have already been recovered from previous payment providers.
  • N-Power will continue under the new name “Renewed Hope Job Creation Programme” under Minister Edu’s supervision.
  • Minister Edu also confirmed that backlog glitches are being resolved. She advised beneficiaries to stay tuned to NASIMS’ official social media pages for updates and to avoid any alleged thumb printing exercise.

This is great news for N-Power beneficiaries waiting on their stipends.
