About Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS) Progamme Loan

The Federal Government of Nigeria has activated the application portal for the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS) Progamme 2023/2024. This scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.

Target Groups

The PCGS is designed to target specific groups of the population, including:

  • Women (70%)
  • Youth (70%)
  • People with disabilities (10%)
  • Senior citizens (5%)
  • Our percent goes to other demographics

Grant Amount

Each eligible beneficiary will receive a grant of N50,000.00.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the PCGS, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Business Ownership and Registration: Possess a valid business registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  • Business Operations: Have been actively operating the business for a minimum of six months
  • Financial Information: Hold a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN) associated with a business bank account
  • Location: The business must be physically located within one of the 774 local government areas of Nigeria
  • Nationality: The business owner must be a Nigerian citizen

Industries Eligible for the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS)

The PCGS is designed to support a wide range of businesses across various sectors, including:

  • Retail: Traders who operate small shops, stalls, or markets selling various goods and products.
  • Food Services: Businesses involved in food preparation and sales, such as restaurants, caterers, food vendors, and mobile food stalls.
  • Information and Communications Technology (ICT): Enterprises providing ICT services, including software development, web design, internet access, and computer repair.
  • Transportation: Businesses involved in the movement of people and goods, such as taxi drivers, tricycle operators, motorcycle riders, and logistics companies.
  • Creative Industries: Individuals and businesses engaged in creative endeavors, such as arts and crafts, fashion design, music production, photography, and graphic design.
  • Artisanal Businesses: Businesses that produce handcrafted goods and products, such as carpentry, pottery, weaving, and traditional crafts.

This diverse range of sectors reflects the government’s commitment to supporting a broad spectrum of MSMEs and fostering economic growth across various industries.

How to Apply for the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS)

To apply for the PCGS, follow these straightforward steps:

  • Access the Application Portal: Visit the official PCGS application portal at grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/apply
  • Complete the Application Form: Carefully fill out the application form with accurate and up-to-date information. Ensure you provide all the required details, including personal information, business details, and financial information.
  • Submit the Application: Once you’ve completed the form thoroughly, review the information for any errors or omissions. Then, click on the “Submit Request” button to finalize your application.
  • Monitor the Application Status: After submitting your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You can also check your application status online by logging into the portal using your credentials.
