This challenge is designed to put your tech skills to the test and help you develop solutions for important issues facing communities in Nigeria. Here’s what you need to know:
What’s the Challenge All About?
The competition is open to all 3MTT fellows who participated in the first round. It’s your chance to use your tech knowledge to create solutions that address social problems in Nigeria.
Why Should You Participate?

- Win Big! Six lucky individuals or teams will each win a cool N1 million to help develop their ideas further.
- Boost Your Career: Get an exclusive one-week boot camp in Lagos to refine your solution and take it to the next level. This boot camp will be held before any official business launch (pre-incubation) and will equip you with valuable skills.
- Attract Investors: Showcase your brilliant idea at a special “demo day” event. This is your chance to impress potential investors who can help you bring your solution to life.
- Level Up Your Skills: Earn prestigious scholarships from both LinkedIn and Azure to further enhance your technical expertise.

How Can You Participate?
Ready to make your mark? Here’s how to join the challenge:
- Find a Problem: Look around your community and identify social issues that are impacting Nigerians. This could be anything from education and healthcare to agriculture or any other area you feel strongly about.
- Understand the Needs: Talk to people directly affected by these issues. You can also conduct surveys to gather more information. This will help you tailor your solution to their specific needs.
- Match Your Skills: Choose a problem that aligns with your technical skills. Remember, your solution should make a significant difference!
- Define the Challenge: Clearly explain the problem you’re addressing, who it affects, and why it’s important to solve it.
- Craft Your Pitch: Create a compelling 3-5 minute video explaining your solution in a way that’s easy to understand.
- Submit Your Application: You can apply as an individual or with a team (maximum of 5 people).
