School Accreditation Explained

  • Fully Accredited: These schools have met all standards and can admit students for the next five years.
  • Provisionally Accredited: These schools are still meeting some standards but need to improve others. They can still admit students for the next two years, but must fix the outstanding issues before their full accreditation can be granted.
  • Student Intake Suspended: If a school has serious problems, its student intake might be paused until they fix the issues. This means they cannot accept new students until further notice.
  • Denied/Withdrawn Accreditation: Schools that fail to meet basic standards or repeatedly don’t improve might lose their accreditation altogether. They cannot admit students until they address the problems and pass a re-inspection.
