About the Youth Leadership Development Fund
The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) aims to empower young Nigerians by providing financial support to youth-driven projects.
Through this grant, NYFF strengthens youth leadership, encouraging innovative ideas that shape Nigeria’s long-term development. The fund focuses on bridging the gap in resources available to youth activists and organizations, ensuring they have the support needed to make a difference.
Grant Categories
The NYFF offers three types of grants, each tailored to support different levels of youth-led initiatives:
- Small Grant ($1,000): For grassroots, community-based projects or individuals who lack access to resources.
- Development Grant ($10,000): For youth-led organizations working to improve youth inclusion and engagement.
- Catalyst Grant ($50,000): For established civic or innovation hubs aiming to build capacity and foster youth ecosystem development across Nigeria.
Who Can Apply?
Individual Applicants
- Must be 18-35 years old with a track record in youth activism or project management.
- Should have a clear understanding of issues related to governance or national development.
- Must provide identification and two reputable referees.
Organizational Applicants
- Must be a youth-led organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or relevant state-level body.
- Should be focused on sustainable solutions within governance or civic engagement.
- Must also provide two reputable referees.
