The Young Professional Programme (YPP) offered by the Authority is a one-year training program designed to immerse participants in Competition Policy and Law Enforcement. The objective is to inspire interest and build capacity in this field, offering young professionals a strong foundation for a future career.
Program Overview
The YPP is a one-year, hands-on program where participants are mentored in competition law and policy, gaining practical skills and insights into the field. By the end of the program, participants must submit a paper on Competition Policy and Law, which is required for the completion of the program and issuance of a certificate.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or a Business-related field from a recognized university.
- Be under 35 years of age.
- Meet all requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
Benefits and Future Opportunities
Participants in the YPP are provided with:
- A monthly stipend during the one-year contract.
- Potential future employment with the Authority, as successful participants may be considered for permanent positions based on job availability.

- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Criminal Investigations Department (CID)
- Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
- Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)
