Job Overview

As a Receptionist, you will be the face of the organization, welcoming clients and ensuring a professional experience. You will also manage the switchboard and assist with additional tasks when needed, without compromising your primary responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones immediately with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Welcome and assist clients in a professional manner.
  • Perform occasional divisional tasks as assigned by your line manager.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
  • Coordinate with cleaners and manage meetings in the boardroom and training rooms.
  • Adhere to the SGS management system’s quality and safety requirements.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as required.

Specific Authorities

  • Cease the use of any equipment that poses a safety hazard and report it to higher authorities.
  • Stop any work that could affect service quality and report it to management.
  • Initiate improvement requests when deviations or nonconformities are identified.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Minimum Grade 12 certificate.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of reception experience.
